Northern Ireland Department for Social Development
This was a fantastic piece of work with the Child Maintenance Information and Support Service (now rebranded as Child Maintenance Choices) around providing parents with the kind of interventions that will help them make the right maintenance arrangements for their family. As in Great Britain, parents are now free to make their own arrangements without interference from the state.
National Day Nurseries Association
A series of member events across the south of England to help day nursery managers and staff support children who are experiencing family separation and engage with parents to help them recognise and deal with the impact on their children.
Child Maintenance Executive
This ongoing training is delivered to all Child Maintenance Commission Executive employees as part of their induction process. It links the Commission's policy objectives with the real life experiences of separated families.
Putting Children First
Putting Children First is a programme that helps parents to deal with the pressures and anxieties that accompany family separation and then build a new post separation parenting relationship with their child's other parent that puts the needs of the child first. Recent training has been delivered to practitioners on the Isle of Wight, Ealing, Brighton and Bundaberg in Queensland.
Child Maintenance Options Consultants
This contract delivered training to Child Maintenance Options face-to-face consultants in Dudley, Plymouth, Gravesend and Falkirk. Each week-long course involved working with the skills and expertise that existing CSA staff to meet the Child Maintenance Commission's goal of building an accessible, empathic and empowering service to vulnerable customers.
Ventura Customer Service Management
Training contact centre agents in empathic listening, gender equalities and solution-focussed engagment as part of the creation of the Child Maintenance Options service. This was a large piece of
work commissioned by the Child Support Redesign Team following the Henshaw Report and the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act (2008).
Cafcass Research Conference
