Classrooms in the Clouds fundraiser

Join us for a charity fundraiser for Classrooms in the clouds with a 60-Minute workshop followed by general Q&A

Date and time: 17:00 BST Monday 18 August 2025

Location: Zoom

Facilitators: Nick Woodall and Karen Woodall

Building resilience through trauma is a powerful and compassionate 60-minute workshop designed to help you understand trauma, reconnect with your inner strength, and build real-life resilience skills. Just like a tree bending in the storm, we can learn to adapt, grow, and heal—without breaking.

At the end of August, I will be heading off to climb Mt Ararat in eastern Türkiye. In doing so, I hope to raise funds for a fantastic charity in Nepal called Classrooms in the Clouds. The charity was set up by Dawa Geljen Sherpa, who I met when I was trekking in the Himalayas, in 2023. His vision is to support children in the rural Solukhumbu/Everest region to access high quality education in earthquake resistant classrooms. Find out more about the amazing work of Classrooms in the Clouds in the video below.

Attendance is by minimum donation of £20 ($25 USD) to Classrooms in the Clouds - please consider donating more if you can afford it. Thank you.

Help me to help the children of Nepal by joining our Fundraising workshop!

Mount Ararat is a majestic, snow-capped volcanic peak located in eastern Türkiye, near the borders of Armenia and Iran. Rising to 5,137 m (16,854 ft), it is traditionally considered the resting place of Noah’s Ark.
